Hmm, We buy them for their skin nutrients and they naturally have a 12 -24 month shelf life already, that is plenty time to use these butters. It is a marketing tactic for them to buy a cheaper butter and sell to you making more of a profit, they do not care that it takes all the nutrients out .. this is why we are buying it in the first place.They do the same thing when they sell essential oils but the first ingredient is MINERAL OIL... Mineral oil is NOT a good carrier oil for essential oils and they only put a dab of the actual plant or flower esential ingredient in them.
